[Kill Line] [Western Fantasy] [New Book] [Pokemon] It’s normal for a new book to have no ratings yet.
Li Fan transmigrated as the high priest of the Divine Tree Pokemon tribe, tasked with guarding a border checkpoint.
Within the Divine Tree’s barrier, the Pokemon live for a thousand years and want for nothing.
Yet a group of young aristocratic Pokemon, led astray, insisted on causing a scene right at the gates.
“The Divine Tree’s rules are suffocating! The air in the Free Federation is so much sweeter!”
“Even if I have to break my life-bound emerald leaf and give up the glory of being a long-lived race, I’ll pursue true freedom!”
Faced with this band of loudly proclaiming runaway Pokemon, Li Fan almost burst out laughing.
He had no intention of trying to keep them.
Li Fan simply stamped the document: “I respect and bless your choice. The gates are open. Turn left when you leave. No need to see you off!”
Then he turned around and activated the highest-grade Illusion Sky Screen formation, broadcasting across borders to every Pokemon in the tribe, twenty-four hours a day!
The Pokemon stepped into the Free Federation full of hope, only to watch their rose-colored glasses shatter.
That supposedly sweet air was filled with zombies, bent over and crawling like insects as they smoked Fentus demonweed on every street.
And the vaunted freedom from restraint meant that one minor illness could bankrupt you, sending you tumbling into the Alice Honor Line, where everyone died at forty!
As the Pokemon sobbed in despair in the slum’s muddy water, longing to return to the Divine Tree,
Li Fan arrived in the Federation capital aboard a diplomatic airship drawn by six dragons, carrying the title of Special Envoy.
Seated on the balcony of the finest embassy in the city, he raised a cup of premium spirit tea and looked down at his former compatriots in the mud, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly.
“Wasn’t freedom what you wanted? Why are you crying? Go on, enjoy your kill line.”
I like your novels. I'll fight the monsters myself. I surrender.
The author is still great. It sums up most of the things happening in today's society.
