The countdown to the college entrance exam draws closer, and senior year is filled with practice tests, endless exercises, and exam prep, leaving life both monotonous and tense.
As Jiang Xiaobai buries himself in preparing for the exam, he also doggedly investigates the long-buried mystery of his parents’ accidental deaths.
Beside him, his gentle, shy deskmate quietly stays by his side, using questions about homework as an excuse to hide her budding feelings;
His proud, prickly childhood friend keeps him company day and night, all her unspoken concern concealed behind words that say the opposite;
And a cool, self-possessed woman, never too near or too far, secretly looks after him and quietly worries about him.
Three hearts, each holding back, keeping their feelings buried deep, none daring to reveal even the slightest trace.
The boy is too naive and slow to catch on, rushing between his future and the past,
never seeing the affection, fluttering hearts, and quiet devotion hidden in their everyday moments together.
Youth stretches on, the summer breeze is cool, and there are just a few sweet moments with you,
while the silence, longing, and lingering regrets unique to youth remain tucked away.
