In an old house on the verge of collapse in the ancient city of Tongguan, young historian Shen Yiwen discovered a batch of family letters from border guards in the Ming Dynasty. These yellowed pages not only record personal destiny, but also carry nostalgia for home and country, as if someone is using another way to annotate the mountains and rivers. Following the guidance of the letter, Shen Yiwen embarked on a spiritual journey across time and space.
