This book is the third part of the series "Mission and Promise", "Mission and Promise: Wuxu Island". The story takes place in San Diego. Decades ago, Kane's father resolutely followed the treasure hunting team to a deserted island in order to obtain settlement funds for Kane's mother and Kane. There was no trace of him. Decades later, Kane has gained countless wealth. A chance encounter provided equipment and support to several Chinese. After learning the purpose of those people, he contacted them to find his father. Eventually they made their way to the island.
