In the 1970s, a High-Maintenance Beauty Marries a Rugged Man and Is Spoiled by a Cold-Faced Officer

This is a story about “seeing” and “choosing.” In the repressive yet hopeful 1970s, a sweet-natured, clever woman who transmigrates and a cold-faced military officer weighed down by shackles begin with a marriage born of “despair and responsibility.” As the tides of the times sweep them along, they keep “seeing” who the other truly is, until they make a “choice” that transcends the constraints of their era and forge a love between kindred souls who lift and illuminate each other.
