My Former Colleague Doesn’t Have Me in His Heart!

(BL, one-on-one, mutually exclusive partners, the one in the receiving role has emotional trauma, everyone loves him, the one in the giving role is direct and loves getting jealous, breaks in like a burglar, both are extremely stubborn about certain aspects of love.)

Xige Ao is a member of the Court of Justice. One day, he is assigned to investigate strange phenomena near the town of Kajisong.

He never expected to fall in love at first sight with the owner of a newspaper.

So he starts coming up with all kinds of excuses to stick close to him.

“I like you more today than I did yesterday. What about you? Have you tried liking me just a little?”

While pursuing him, Xige Ao also begins investigating the town of Kajisong.

Gradually, Xige Ao discovers that the man he loves has a past he can't move on from...

Later:

Xige Ao: “Do you know how adorable my beloved is? You'd better not find out.”

You want to know how I pursued him? I fought and grabbed, shamelessly clung to him, and went to every length for him. What reason could I possibly have for failing to win him over?

[The romance is resolved first. The main plot later focuses on Derik Fort.]
