Honghuang Defying Fate: From Turning the Sages Against Each Other to Slaying the System on the Journey West

Core plot: Lin Chen, a young man from the modern world, unexpectedly transmigrates into Honghuang at the end of the Dragon-Han Tribulation, before chaos has yet been divided. As soon as he arrives, he is struck by the lingering might of the Heavenly Dao, unleashed by Dao Ancestor Hongjun as he exterminates the remnants of chaos. On the brink of death, he awakens the [System for Rebelling Against Hongjun].

The System's core mission: turn all of Hongjun's disciples and registered disciples against him, destroy the foundation of Hongjun's union with the Dao, and ultimately slay Hongjun and the Heavenly Dao. Completing the mission will grant him the supreme source of the Great Dao and allow him to transcend Honghuang.

Lin Chen immediately sees through the truth of Honghuang: Hongjun was never a sage who preached the Dao to Honghuang. He is the ultimate villain, devouring Honghuang's fortune, shackling the freedom of all living beings, and monopolizing the authority of the Heavenly Dao. His so-called sermons and granting of sagehood are nothing more than a way to turn the sages of the myriad heavens into his puppets, preparing to unite with the Dao and devour all of Honghuang.
