The film follows Ju Ciyun, a genetically modified experimental subject who, to escape pursuit by a mysterious organization, hides with a farming family and pretends to have amnesia for ten years. Her appearance on a talent show gives away her whereabouts and draws her enemies out. On the surface, she is emotionally attached to her adoptive parents and best friend, but in reality she uses them all as pieces in her plan. Her true reason for joining the show is to obtain a brain repair drug developed by the organization and treat her adoptive mother's Alzheimer's disease.
