A mash-up of modern urban life and layered otherworlds, including the apocalypse, xianxia, sci-fi, and Cthulhu Mythos!
The world undergoes a sudden upheaval, and the mysterious “Tower to Heaven” descends. Every floor is a bizarre and fantastical otherworld. Humanity’s fate is bound to it, and only those who clear the floors can bolster their nation’s fortune. Lin Mo, an office worker on the verge of being crushed by life, is chosen as a “Climber” and awakens a one-of-a-kind golden finger: the “Eye of Truth.” He can see loopholes in every rule, the weak points of monsters, the flaws in traps, and even the [Guide to Clearing] for every floor of the Tower to Heaven.
While other climbers struggle beneath the claws of monsters and lose their way in the fog of rules, Lin Mo sees the world as a strategy guide made up of countless glowing lines of code.
But the Eye of Truth also reveals a deeper horror: the Tower to Heaven itself seems to be a gigantic “breeding ground,” where climbers from different nations are no more than poisonous insects fighting one another. Someone is also watching from the shadows, seeking to seize the secrets hidden in his eyes. Lin Mo must use this almost prophetic ability not only to clear the tower, but to break the game. With the help of trustworthy allies, he uncovers the truth of the world and gradually grows from someone who exploits the rules into their... challenger and reshaper.
