This story completely abandons the previous version’s setup and focuses on the classic early-novel formula of eerie cases in a sealed-off town. Its main themes are “closed-loop rules, memory curses, and the inner struggles of ghost tamers.” There are no large-scale battles in supernatural domains; instead, it builds a subtle, oppressive atmosphere of horror. It strictly adheres to the original’s ironclad rules: “Ghosts cannot be killed; they can only be opposed by taming ghosts, and ghost tamers are inevitably corrupted.” It features an entirely new protagonist, a central haunted domain, and a curse storyline, while avoiding the original’s main characters and plot. This is a completely independent fanfiction side story.
