Imprisoned for Years in the Name of Friendship

From primordial chaos came yin and yang; hate is love taken to its extreme.

If you openly tell me you love me, I’ll think you could leave at any moment. If you say you hate me to death and will haunt me even as a ghost, then I might believe your love is real. Love should come with possessiveness and obsession. Only when we pull at each other and inflict pain can it be genuine. Love at its most intense is never open and honest; it must carry a touch of obsession and sickness, and a bond that can never be untangled, to be called deep devotion. Only entanglement proves true love; an overly clean break only reveals hypocrisy.

This novel is adapted from the author’s own experiences, and is about a first love who will forever remain the moonlight in their heart.
