The Ink Jade Bracelet: No Survivors

[Infinite Flow] [Ensemble cast] [Mild horror] [Some gore] [Thriller] [No System]

My name is Lin Shi'an.

I'm an ordinary food delivery driver.

My parents divorced when I was little, and I grew up with my mother. Our life wasn't great, but it was peaceful and ordinary, until the day I graduated from college, when my mother vanished into thin air.

The police investigated every possible lead, then told me she was as if she'd never existed: no clues, no traces, no surveillance footage.

I searched everywhere she might have gone, like a madman, but found nothing.

Then, two days ago, I found an old wooden box my mother had hidden at the bottom of a trunk. Inside was a bracelet, dark green with a bamboo-like pattern. It was cold and hard. Beneath it lay a handwritten notebook filled with one horrifying story after another, each enough to make your blood run cold.

I felt a chill. My gut told me these things had a lot to do with my mother's disappearance. In her whole life, my mother went to work, did laundry, cooked, and browsed her phone. I'd never seen her read a proper book. Stranger still, the bracelet looked so loose when I picked it up that it should have slipped right off, but the moment I put it on, it shrank by itself and clung tightly to my skin.

But ever since I put on the bracelet, strange things haven't stopped happening.

This delivery order was where it all began.
