In a nutshell: Ji Xiao, a modern-day overworked office worker, transmigrates to the Tang Dynasty and gets bound to a System. Starting as a nobody, he makes his way up to become a brilliant young detective of the Tang, investigating dukes and mouthing off to prefects during the Zhenguan era.
