1926-2012 Fireworks of My Life and Past Events in the World
I was born in 1926 and passed away in 2012.
In this life, I fell from the wind and rain of the Republic of China, grew old amidst the ordinary fireworks, and finally returned to the passing years peacefully.
I don't have an earth-shattering story. I have a short-lived family who has been guarding my hometown, my family, and my daily necessities all my life. I have seen the ups and downs of troubled times, survived the hardships of being widowed, gone through years of poverty, and enjoyed the stability of having children and grandchildren around my knees. Over the past eighty years, spring has passed and autumn has come, and I have been miserable, tired, and contented.
Now my granddaughter is slowly writing down what I have seen, experienced, and felt in my life. She has written down the old appearance of the country when she was a child, the trivial life after getting married, and the daily joys and sorrows of ordinary people in the changing times. Not seeking to be passed down to the next generation, but just to preserve the way we came, to preserve the old times of our family, and to leave a memory and a root in the memory for future generations.
The years are silent, but the passing years have traces. This is my ordinary and down-to-earth life.
