Psychologist Chen Shen wakes up in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and becomes bound to an unreliable “Apocalypse Emotion Collection System.” On the surface, he runs a rundown psychology clinic and spends his days lying flat like a lazy fish. In reality, he uses his knowledge of psychology to navigate rule-based horror scenarios, while casually flirting with all kinds of beauties to gather information. When Lu Tianming, the fanatical archbishop of the Purity Church, takes up a black scepter and tries to cleanse the world through paranormal events, Chen Shen has no choice but to team up with Lin Du, a rigid memory cleaner; Su Man, a sly information broker; and AI Xiaojiu, who spends all day complaining about his lazy ways, to embark on an absurd and hilarious journey to save the world.
