The Mad Grand Secretary's Caged Bird

On the day Shen Zhiyi came of age, her uncle Shen Yanzhi seized her in front of everyone and locked her away in a secluded courtyard. She thought he was a beast, a hunter who had imprisoned her. Only then did she see the madness he had hidden in his eyes for ten years. It wasn’t possessiveness. He was afraid she would die. The truth behind her family’s massacre came to light, and she and he found themselves on opposite sides. Where could fate possibly take them now? But he didn’t know that she had never wanted his protection. She wanted the world to watch on its knees as the two of them, a pair of madmen, brought the dynasty crashing down. “Shen Yanzhi, you protected me for ten years. From now on, I’ll protect you until the day I die.” “Then my life is in your hands.” Hunter and sparrow, blades joined against the dynasty.
