Reborn in 2001: From the Start, I Bought Tencent for 500,000

[Youthful romance] [World's richest man] [Multiple heroines] [Feel-good power fantasy] [Recapturing the feeling of youth]

Li Xun is reborn in 2001, just after getting into Sun Yat-sen University. He uses the “wish for a trip abroad” he should have traded for with his college entrance exam results in his previous life to persuade his parents to sell their house, hand over their savings, and borrow money from everyone they know until he has half a million yuan. Then he heads south to Shenzhen alone and takes control of Tencent through a wagering agreement.

By day, he’s a freshman mocked by his classmates for “wasting money on a chat app.” By night, he’s the behind-the-scenes boss using QQ to change his fate.

From campuses, internet cafes, and text messages to memberships, QQ Show, music, games, and payments, he fights his way to the top of China's internet, while also making up for his parents’ regrets, the youth he let slip away, and the shattered fates of several girls.
