Bullying by a bad woman + love triangle drama + a remorseful pursuit + used and discarded
At eighteen, Shen Liu is the fragile beauty everyone at school envies.
The wealthy Pei Zhishu dotes on him, indulging his every whim and loving him with all his heart.
Then, after a strange bout of dizziness, Shen Liu wakes up eight years in the future.
The person who once would have risked their life for him has become violent and cold-blooded.
Pei Zhishu beats him, constantly humiliates him, lets a whole string of lovers torment him, and forces him to cross half the city in the dead of winter to buy water, grinding his dignity into the dirt.
The tenderness is gone, his love worn away, leaving only a deep-seated hatred.
Shen Liu is plunged into a nightmare, moving between the sweet days of his youth and the hell of his married life, overwhelmed with confusion.
What could have made Pei Zhishu, who once had eyes only for him, hate him so fiercely eight years later?
When he is lost and has nowhere to turn, Xia Wan, the neighbor girl who has always been gentle and insecure, becomes his only refuge.
She is kind and considerate, takes care of everything, helps him investigate the truth, and soothes his many wounds.
But the deeper he digs, the more chilling the truth becomes.
A hoard of personal belongings hidden in a secluded corner, years of secretly recorded footage, and layer upon layer of schemes to drive them apart...
It turns out that time was never the only thing that destroyed him and Pei Zhishu. There was also a sick, deeply rooted obsession lurking beneath a gentle facade.
Once the truth comes to light, the rift between the old lovers proves impossible to mend. Driven mad by regret, Pei Zhishu begins his humiliating pursuit to win Shen Liu back.
Shen Liu tries to escape, only to be locked in a dark cage by the unhinged Xia Wan, whose disguise has finally fallen away.
On one side is the domineering former lover who once poured all his love into Shen Liu, only to become steeped in sin and bow his head in repentance.
On the other is a deranged figure of the night, who deliberately set out to win his love, consumed by a sick, obsessive passion that knows no bounds.
The author's writing is really beautiful and sad. I only read the first part. I feel that Pei Zhishu really loves the male protagonist. Why does it have to become like that later? I feel that Xia doesn't love the male protagonist as much as Pei. Obviously the two are so matched in the past. Maybe it's the reason why I don't like to read sadistic stories. I thought that the male protagonist will turn the tide and Pei will change. But the female protagonist is not Pei. It's all because the author's character design is so good. It makes me feel itchy.
After seeing the scene where the roommate was narrow-minded and deliberately approached Pei Zhishu, and the male protagonist caught them kissing, I completely disliked her. It made me feel very uncomfortable. Fortunately, the ending was healing and satisfying. Shen Liu and Xia Wan were separated for two years and never had any estrangement. In the end, they embraced each other in the open space behind the training building facing the sunset. The tenderness of the two-way rush soothed the discomfort caused by this terrible plot. That night, someone took a photo of the two embracing each other and posted it on the campus forum. The title of the post read, "He carries all my desires, all my love." This post was permanently pinned to the top by the administrator, and the screen was filled with silent blessings, which was particularly touching. 🥺
It's well written and well connected. It also clearly describes the difference between the two kinds of love between Pei and Xia. It also explains why Pei loses. There's a bit of chaos in the back and forth time travel, but it's harmless and worth reading.
To be honest, this book does. Friends who like to read sadistic stories are in luck, but the title of this book is almost meaningless and lacks a little tension. It's hard to overstate what an excellent novel is, and this is the one I want to read! ❤️ ❤️ Love you, author
The yandere is awesome, and so is this intellectual.
Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking, really good-looking 👍
"Thunderstorm" is really the originator of sadistic writing.
Wonderful, but too short
It looks great, good luck to the author!
I really want to know what the ending will be. It seems quite suffocating.
