In the fourteenth year of the Republic of China, there was a severe drought in Linjiang. When his parents starved to death, sixteen-year-old Wang Tiansheng fled to the dock with his thirteen-year-old brother. There is no backing, no retreat. There is only one sentence that is engraved in my bones - as an elder brother, you have to endure more hardships than your younger brothers.
From carrying bags at the pier to serving as the boss's cousin and then fighting with warlords, the elder brother incurred a debt of 4,000 yuan and the younger brother had two scars on his face. On the day of victory, Tiansheng was sentenced to eight years for "traitor crime". All this he did was never to be a hero, but just to keep himself and his brother alive.
Eight years later, a "Brother" came from the wheat field. He turned around and saw his younger brother standing on the ground with his hair turning white.
No system, no time travel, no wisdom. Only brothers who have been together for thirty years fought their way out from the bottom of the pier.
This is not a success story. This is a story about "living".
