The Restricted Zone Rules Fail: I Become the Top Night Watchman

Rule One for the Restricted Zone: Get out before dark.

It’s an ironclad rule bought with hundreds of thousands of lives.

Lu Yan didn’t follow it.

Not because he didn’t want to.

He was trapped inside.

That night, the Restricted Zone changed.

Every situation left out of the rules came to pass.

Lu Yan ran through the ruins all night.

He evaded three beast tides.

He detoured around two spatial rifts.

And along the way, he rescued fifteen people who were trapped just like him.

At daybreak,

the rescue team found him on the edge of the Restricted Zone.

He was asleep, leaning against a rock.

Fifteen unharmed people sat beside him.

When the Night Watch Headquarters saw the incident report, they fell silent.

Then they stamped a new designation on it:

S-Rank Night Watcher.

Lu Yan.

Lu Yan only wanted to ask one question:

Does this job

provide room and board?
