Link is an ordinary scavenger from the slums of Ark City. During the storm, he unexpectedly awakens his mental powers and obtains a damaged Mechanical Guard card. He has no idea that he is holding a fragment capable of moving the world.
A gray card, a grotesque fusion of machinery and flesh, which he names “Chimera.” Everyone laughs at the ugly little monster, until it begins to devour, evolve, and transform. No one knows what its limits are.
The multidimensional invasion is no natural disaster. It is a selection conducted by the Lords of Dimensions. The God of Machinery, the Mother of Flesh, the Source of the Arcane, and the Lord of Shadows forge vessels for “new gods” through destruction and opportunity.
But Link says, “I won't be anyone's vessel.”
From wasteland scavenger to dark horse at the academy; from leader of a society in Ark City to commander of an expeditionary force spanning dimensions. He uses his Eye of Analysis to see through every secret and his Chimera to devour every obstacle. The Xuanyuan Sword, the Eastern Emperor Bell, and the Pangu Axe acknowledge him as their master; the Phoenix is reborn from its ashes, and the Black King's armor covers him.
When the void arrives and the universe teeters on the brink of destruction, he will raise the Creation Card...
