Raising Kun in a Reservoir: Anglers Line Up to Give Me Their Rods

[Urban fantasy + System + fishing + comedy + slow-burn growth]

Su Bai, a recent university graduate, returns to his hometown and takes over an abandoned wild lake. By chance, he binds himself to the Fishing Through the Ages System. Whenever someone casts a line in the lake, time beneath the water speeds up and stacks. One angler speeds it up by ten years; ten anglers speed it up by a century.

At first, the only visitors are a few thrill-seeking anglers who never catch a thing. But when an expensive custom fishing rod worth over ten thousand yuan is snapped clean in half by an unknown creature underwater, the entire local fishing community's competitive spirit is set ablaze.

As more and more people come to fish, the once-ordinary black carp and grass carp beneath the water grow beyond biological limits after centuries or even millennia of accelerated time. To land the biggest ones, the anglers start bringing out heavy-duty surf rods and even industrial winches. And the wives who originally came to drag their husbands home try the thrill of a tug-of-war with a giant fish once, then order fishing rods even thicker than their husbands' overnight.
