[Future] [Dark] [Decisive and Ruthless] [Ensemble Cast] [Growth] [No System] [Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland] [Hardcore Survival] [Rebuilding Civilization] [Ensemble Growth] [Knowledge as an Overwhelming Advantage] [Expansion of Order]
The brain-computer network of the future collapsed overnight, leaving humanity without external memories, identity credentials, or skill modules. Lin Jin had once been dismissed as a good-for-nothing because his brain rejected the interface. Yet he awoke on the wasteland with his natural memories and innate skills completely intact, in a world of muddled identities, broken chains of knowledge, and scarce resources fought over by all.
Others couldn't start a fire, identify medicinal herbs, or repair machinery. They couldn't even prove their own names without a damaged chip. But armed with the common knowledge of the old world and the sparks of civilization, Lin Jin organized a group of dying survivors into gathering, sentry, medical, and workshop teams. Using scrap metal, clean water, discipline, and knowledge, he built the first orderly camp against all odds.
When the “Memory Aristocrats,” who controlled the surviving brain-computer nodes, declared natural memory bearers dangerous heretics, factions across the wasteland began hunting Lin Jin. They thought they were capturing a good-for-nothing who knew a few scraps of old knowledge. They had no idea that what he was envisioning was not a shelter, but a new civilization powerful enough to crush the old order.
