Three hundred years after the Buddhist scriptures ended, the Victorious Buddha "disappeared" and Huaguoshan was blocked by the heaven. An unknown little monkey was born from the dead stone with a band mark on his right arm - he was the seventh generation "man of destiny". The first six generations all failed: disappeared, went mad, were imprisoned, devoured, gave up, and disappeared.
The destined people set out on the road to collect the six root tools of the Great Sage. In Black Wind Mountain, it discovered that behind the justice of "subduing demons and exterminating demons" was a systematic list of demon kings to be eliminated; in Huangfengling, it heard the three hundred years of anger of the oppressed; in Xiaoxitian, it saw how faith has become the most sophisticated cage; in Pansi Cave, it understood that there are countless versions of the truth, and there is no single answer; in Flame Mountain, it touched the deepest scar of the Great Sage - surrendering and sworn brothers with his own hands for "righteousness".
Finally, it gathered the six root tools and stood in front of the Tathagata. The Tathagata gave the Great Sage two choices: obey or be shattered. The Man of Destiny found the third one - it scattered its roots back to the three realms, stopped being the successor of the Great Sage, and continued to walk as the "Man of Destiny".
It has no golden cudgel, no seventy-two changes, and no somersault cloud. It only has itself.
