Lin Chaosui grew up in a special orphanage. There are three rules here: don't ask people what year they are from, don't go out after the bell has struck thirteen, and don't engrave your name on the clock. He always thought that his memory was just confused, until one snowy night, the thirteenth bell rang, and a child who had disappeared long ago reappeared outside the door and told him: "Don't believe the dean, he hid all our time in the clock."
From then on, Lin Chaosui began to think of many memories that were not his own. Some people forget everything every seven days, some come from a hundred years ago, some grow up a year a day, some stay ten years old forever, and some come back from the future but cannot tell the ending. Those memories were as clear as his own experiences, but they were clearly not his life. As the truth was revealed, Lin Chaosui finally discovered that he was not an ordinary orphan, but a person made up of countless children abandoned by time, made up of memories, blessings and last wishes. When the thirteenth bell rings again, he must make a choice: continue to maintain the secret of this orphanage, or break the bell and return time to everyone.
