After I Lured My Mad Childhood Friend In

Jiang Shaoli transmigrates into a book, becoming the childhood friend who serves as cannon fodder in a danmei novel.

In the original story, his childhood friend Lu Ye is a deranged, lovesick simp who loses his family and ends up in prison. And Jiang Shaoli? Just a side character, not even worth mentioning.

The moment he awakens to the truth, Jiang Shaoli looks at the still perfectly normal Lu Ye beside him and makes a decision:

Rather than let the protagonist's love interest ruin him, I'll do it myself.

And so

“Lu Ye, have you ever thought you might like men?”

“Your ears are red.”

“Happy birthday.”

Lu Ye is so thoroughly teased that he loses his senses, and his deranged side awakens ahead of schedule. The way he looks at Jiang Shaoli grows more and more unsettling.

Jiang Shaoli thinks he has everything under control, until one day he's cornered against a wall.

Lu Ye grips his chin, his voice hoarse:

“Big brother, did you think about the consequences when you teased me?”
