War of Resistance: My 1943 Player Army

"Slow-paced, not a conventional power fantasy, ensemble cast, somewhat realistic" When Lin Yan opened his eyes, he discovered he had become the second-in-command of a bandit stronghold in northern Hunan in 1943. His sworn elder brother had just died. Guo Mazi was making a play for power, and the Japanese were less than twenty li from the stronghold. A System had been implanted in his mind, allowing him to summon “players” from the future into this era. When the first batch of beta testers arrived, some thought it was a full-dive game, while others took it for an exciting vacation. But soon, they would understand: every gust of wind here was real, every blade cut to the heart, and every death was an unforgettable nightmare. Lin Yan’s task was to use modern tactics, future technology, and iron discipline to forge a band of bandits into a sharp blade that could pierce the Japanese army’s weakest points. This isn’t a game. This is 1943. They would become the force that made all of northwestern Hunan tremble: The Loyal and Righteous National Salvation Army.
