Li Xiyu at Seventy-Nine

At seventy-nine, Li Xiyu found herself in a difficult position in her later years. Her son, under pressure, sold her house and sent her to a nursing home. Without a word, she bought her house back and went on to live out her life remarkably well. This is a story about ordinary life, but it teaches us about the greatness of a mother's love and the importance of kindness. Don't let the times change who you are. Sometimes the pressure comes from within. Whatever your circumstances, don't complain; keep moving forward steadily. Perhaps something wonderful lies ahead.
