This County Town Can't Hold All My Money

After quitting his job and returning to his hometown, Lin Yue binds himself to an outrageous System: the amount deposited each day is proportional to the county’s permanent population. The more people, the more money.

At first, it’s only 180,000 yuan. Not much, but enough to get by.

The catch is that all the money has to be spent in Pingjiang County that very day. Whatever he doesn’t spend is deducted. Even more absurdly, the money he spends comes back doubled. The more he spends, the more money he gets, and the more impossible it becomes to spend it all. It’s a death loop he can never outrun.

To keep the System from wiping him out, he’s forced to start burning money:

Buying unfinished buildings, taking over the bus company, showering people with red envelopes, donating to schools, building hospitals, organizing shopping festivals…

On the day he burns through his tenth billion, the System issues a warning: spending quota usage is below 80%.

Lin Yue glances at Hengda Plaza, which he just bought, and falls silent.

He’s the first person in history to spend himself into bankruptcy.
