At sixteen, everyone awakens their beast-taming talent and contracts their first pet beast. Pet beasts rank from Black Iron to Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, King, Overlord, Mythical, and Primordial, ten tiers in all. Common pet beasts include ordinary strange creatures such as wild wolves, spirit cats, rock turtles, and fire sparrows, while ancient divine beasts exist only in legends. The wilderness is dotted with secret realms, strange beast lairs, and ancient ruins.
