The Phoenix Perches on the Paulownia: A Song from the Ninth Heaven

The parasol tree calls the phoenix, destiny binds their souls, and a love spanning three lifetimes turns endlessly through the ages.

They first meet in the Parasol Tree Sea of the divine realm, where their shared love of the qin quietly weaves a bond between them. He acts under the weight of Heaven's decree, burying all his feelings deep within. She is trapped by the fate of all living beings, with a mist-shrouded road ahead, and though her feelings run deep, she cannot voice them.

They meet again amid the chaos of the mortal world, and one day of care creates a bond that lasts half a lifetime. The court is swept by turbulent currents, and the barriers between hearts are hard to overcome. The warmth they once shared slowly fades, and even a deep love cannot withstand the wear and tear of worldly affairs.

They enter the mortal world again through reincarnation, haunted time and again by dreams of their past lives, until two old souls from another age meet once more.

Love and hate from the past intertwine, old regrets remain unresolved, and their fateful bond across lifetimes begins anew.

After countless lives of deep love and endless twists and turns, will this bond finally bring them together, or is their love doomed to go unfulfilled?
