The subject matter is very novel and the logic is relatively rigorous. If it continues to maintain this quality, it will be a rare and good book. I saw a similar style of narrative in "Science Fiction World" thirty years ago. I still remember the story, the gist of which is: A group of teenagers live in a building. They have been here since they were born. The four seasons are clearly visible outside the window, but they have been told not to go out since they were young. One day the teenagers rioted and tried to break out of the building. Eventually the adults took them to a part of the building where they saw the truth. This is not a building, but a huge spaceship that can never return due to a malfunction. The scenery seen outside the window is just a holographic projection.
There are very few sci-fi novels in Tomato that favor traditional science fiction. The entry point is very novel. The restrained approach reminds me of Liu Cixin's short stories. They are of higher quality than some of the alien novels that are talked about on the site. I hope the author will continue to surpass 👍
From the beginning, it was with great interest, like watching a movie, to slowly starting to think about what humans should do to survive. It was thanks to the technology provided by the Ember. Earth's technology has developed explosively, but it was impossible to develop the strength to compete with the pursuers before they came to the earth. To be honest, I was looking forward to humans relying on deception to reverse the predicament step by step, but I really couldn't imagine how humans could win. Then when I saw the ending today, I realized something was wrong. It turns out that the author didn't expect how humans would win. Pity
A very unique plot, similar to interstellar fraud. But I can't imagine how the earth will break through in the later stage. Without the deus ex machina, the crisis still cannot be solved. Let's see how the author explains it later.
