I remember that they knew each other as children, and endured exile and separation, an obstructed engagement, distance on the battlefield, and turmoil over a political marriage. Though parted and reunited many times, they never stopped thinking of each other, and their love remained steadfast. Such devotion is rare in this world.
Now that the realm has been pacified, I hereby grant Huo Jinyu in marriage to Qin Mo as his principal wife. The Ministry of Rites shall prepare the wedding ceremony, and the Imperial Astronomical Bureau shall select an auspicious date. May the two remain together from now on and share a lifetime side by side.
