On the night of a camping trip deep in the mountains, Shen Xingchen thought the thing chasing him was just a bear. Until it cornered him against a sheer cliff, and a cold blue eye lit up in the darkness: a Titan mech from another dimension, BT-7274. It called him “Pilot.”
The problem was, Shen Xingchen was just an ordinary college student who liked rock climbing and talking big. When the explosion of the Ark tore open the barriers between dimensions, the war from Titanfall 2 was no longer just a game. The IMC infiltrated Earth, the military investigated abnormal signals, and the dimensional rifts kept growing. Through it all, BT continued to follow its one and only protocol:
“Protocol Three: Protect the Pilot.”
From running for his life as a mech chased him across the mountains, to his first neural link; from hiding BT to piloting a Titan and facing enemies from another universe head-on. As the real world begins to crumble, Shen Xingchen finally understands:
He has inherited more than the title of Pilot. He has inherited the flames of war from an entire universe.
“Pilot, are you ready?”
