In 1937, Songhu was filled with smoke and the mountains and rivers were shattered. Shen Yanci, a general in Zhejiang and a leader in the first phase of Huangpu, studied in Germany to study the sharp edges of modern warfare. However, after returning home, he found that he had become an idle pawn of the party-state. He is proficient in German and Japanese, is good at infiltration behind enemy lines and special operations, and has witnessed with his own eyes the corruption and factional strife within the national army. When Nanjing fell and the whole country was in ruins, he was betrayed by his superiors and trapped in a tight siege. Fortunately, he was rescued by the Communist Party. From that moment on, his belief that "soldiers have the duty to defend their territory" was rekindled. He was determined to abandon that decaying body, and in the name of "Lone Blade", he became an invisible sharp blade inserted into the heart of the Japanese invaders. He used seemingly impossible tasks to fulfill the purest oath of a Chinese soldier - to drive the invaders out of China until the last drop of blood was shed. He did not seek fame after his death, just to bury his bones in China.
