This is an ensemble story about women, featuring more than a hundred female characters.
For her undergraduate thesis, Feng Hua must travel to four planets: Tuhui, Huoduan, Shuibo, and Muyun, helping the women who live there solve their problems.
The conditions women face differ from planet to planet. Some are more advanced than her homeworld, Jinzhuo, while others are far behind it.
But time and again, she and her companions use their intelligence, knowledge, optimism, and courage to achieve goals that go far beyond the thesis itself, all while navigating complicated systems.
They also uncover secrets that have been “overlooked” on each planet.
