At the end of his rope, Chen Yuanshan unexpectedly opens a portal between two worlds, traveling between the modern day and the difficult times of 1962.
A pound of sugar for silver coins, a few packets of medicine for ancient jade. He keeps to his principles and never disrupts the order of the past, conducting only discreet trades.
In the modern world, he turns his life around, gives face-slapping comeuppance to snobbish relatives and friends, and opens a little antique shop. He meets a kind-hearted young woman and secretly helps her, finding warmth that transcends time.
A little weighing scale connects two worlds, and an ordinary life is transformed against all odds!
The writing at the back is much better than at the front.
