During the National Day holiday, three roommates and I went to Changsha for a trip. We took care of everything including guides, tickets, hotel reservations, etc. However, when we first entered the hotel, they worked together to force us to share more of the room fee on the grounds that our suitcases took up too much space. Unwilling to swallow my anger, I decisively chose to check out and rationally accounted for my labor costs. I paid for the return ticket in full and the other party did not pay, so I returned the three tickets in accordance with the law. After I returned to school, they spread rumors and slandered me. I came up with complete evidence to publicly clarify my case. In the end, my overbearing roommate was punished by school regulations. I successfully changed dormitories and started a fulfilling and happy college life with my new roommate who I was compatible with. I also understood that there is no need to cater to and decisively stay away from each other.
