She Came Walking Out of Human Skin

The author stopped updating a long time ago and is using this to start writing skinning fiction again.

Lu Bao climbed up from the very bottom of this city.

He wasn't born into a powerful family or a rich one. He had only one thing: a System that let him peel off people's skin, one layer at a time, and wear it himself.

To survive, he peeled off the kindness of a cleaning lady.

To climb the ladder, he peeled off a female secretary's smooth charm.

To gain power, he peeled off his partner's ruthlessness.

He thought he was climbing toward the top. Only when he reached the peak of the pyramid did he realize in horror:

Every skin he peeled off had been swallowed by the System.

At last, wearing the flawless skin of a female CEO, he took the highest throne in the city.

Then the System, which he had abandoned along with his conscience, his love, and his ability to feel pain, finally took human form.

She emerged from layers upon layers of human skin, wearing that faded cotton dress, and gently took the new female CEO's hand:

“Now you're safe.”

“Now you can go home.”

She gained the world, and the System gained a heart.
