Supernatural forces invade Blue Star, and Liang Yan is trapped in a hospital scenario governed by rules. He has the ability to rewind time after dying.
The ward is filled with survival rules that are hard to tell apart from lies, knife-wielding nurses, patients prone to turning feral, and actors skilled at disguises.
Each participant knows a different, contradictory set of rules, and danger lurks everywhere. Liang Yan repeatedly loops back to test his theories, gathering rules and forming a team to survive and escape the hospital.
