We’re All Growing Up

It would be best if I could just forget you

It would be best if I didn’t have to think about how much it still troubles me

These complicated feelings come rushing toward me

There have been too few from the start, or perhaps there’s no cure

I’ve already given you everything that was best, and you didn’t want it

My best friend says I’m too boring

The best I can do is this

You don’t want me anyway, so it’s all fine
