The logger Strong is supposed to spend his days chopping wood in Bear Ridge. In truth, his life is part of a grand scheme laid by Boss Li of the Big Forest Logging Company, who wants to keep the one he loves all to himself.
Here, money and resources are the only way Boss Li knows how to express his affection, and every “failure” of Strong's gives him another reason to stay by Boss Li's side.
