The story takes place in Neon City, a saturated Cyberpunk metropolis. It is not entirely a dystopia, but a shadowy jungle where technology, power, and conspiracy are tightly intertwined. Mega-corporations control the city’s lifeblood, while the people at the bottom struggle to survive amid glamorous holographic ads and filthy mechanical patches. Chen Mo is a scavenger boy from the Lower City. One night, a gang corners him in an alley and smashes his only battered phone. Blood seeps into the gaps in its motherboard, and then something appears in his mind.

A System inside his brain that can read, modify, and bridge any electronic device. In his hands, discarded parts can become weapons, and trash can become keys that pry open access ports. On a board where the rules have long been locked in place, he uses technology as a blade to break the monopolies of the giants, builds his own power from nothing, and ultimately takes “control” of the city.
