Medieval: Signing on as a Knight

I’m a transmigrator. I originally thought that after arriving in another world and becoming a noble with an estate, I’d be able to roam the streets with my lackeys and harass respectable women, just like in TV dramas.

But when I found out that my cheap old man had died on the way home after taking dozens of people to the neighboring knight’s estate to steal farm tools, I realized something was wrong with this world.

As a lord, my daily life isn’t about ruining the country and living in decadent debauchery. Instead, every night I have to watch out for the neighboring knightly lords and their men, who come to burn my fields and steal my livestock.

Even worse, these bastards steal people, too.

Have you ever seen dozens of people sneak more than ten miles in the middle of the night just to steal a crowing rooster from your doorstep? I have!!!!
