There's a God of Death Inside Me

[Urban Martial Arts] [Spirit-Image Abilities] [Ensemble Squad] [Vengeful Spirit Dungeons] [War of the Gods Across the Three Realms]

On a rainy night when he was eight, Jiang Ye watched his mother turn into a vengeful spirit and his father die a gruesome death at home. Heaven and hell came to him at the same time, but neither saved him. Instead, they placed a bet on his life: the gods wagered that he would eventually forgive, while the god of death wagered that he would seek revenge.

Ten years later, vengeful spirit domains began appearing everywhere. Spirit-image wielders awakened, and the human world established the Spirit Suppression Bureau to contain the anomalies. The Sixteenth Nether Seat took up residence inside Jiang Ye, and he was assigned to Night Patrol Unit Seven as a red-level operative.

His spirit-image, “Death’s Last Sight,” lets him see the final truth of the dead. His weapon, the “Black Box,” is made to slay vengeful spirits and break contracts with gods and demons.

Heaven tells him to let go. Hell offers him a blade.

Jiang Ye asks only one question: Why should gods and demons judge the sins of the human world?
