I have a feeling it's a good book. I really like the weird rules! Other people's systems are life-saving artifacts, but the protagonist's system is a fabricated artifact? Even if my roommate sneezes, he will beat him to the beatbox. I would call him the strongest one in the world of ghost stories!
Subvert my understanding of strange rules! It's not depressing or scary, it's full of funny scenes, the protagonist's uncanny imagination, and various outrageous actions can directly make you a god. Highly recommended!
