The supposedly hardest full-dive survival game ever, Wild Era, has launched. The monsters are fierce, supplies are scarce, and players find new ways to suffer every day. Medical student Bai Ke accidentally changes classes and becomes the only player on the server with the hidden class, "Schrodinger's Alchemist." He thought he could get rich by brewing potions, but every single potion he makes undergoes an absurd mutation!
When the guild's main fighter is on the brink of death and calls for help, Bai Ke pulls out a bottle of [Powerful Healing Potion (Mutated)]. The fighter's health instantly refills, but he falls into a three-hour state of "Berserk Hallucinations," during which he pins a field boss to the ground and pummels it. When he wakes up, he's mentally shattered. From then on, every player on the server trembles at the sight of one of Bai Ke's potions.
"Doctor Bai, are you sure this potion won't make me grow tentacles?" The leaders of the major guilds beg him to stop developing new potions. Bai Ke pushes up his glasses. "Medical progress always comes with a few tiny, insignificant sacrifices." When the Abyssal Dragon arrives, Bai Ke pulls out his latest creation, the [Epic Awakening Potion]... Players across the server: "Stay away from us!"
