You Force-Feed Me a Potion to Make Me Barren? I’ll Lead the Iron Cavalry to Storm Your Manor

Shen Yuan was the most inconspicuous concubine-born daughter in the Marquis of Zhenyuan’s household.

Her birth mother was driven to her death by her stepmother, and for fourteen years Shen Yuan gnawed on cold steamed buns in a corner of the woodshed.

When her legitimate elder sister refused to marry off to the barbarian wastelands, her stepmother smiled and brought over a bowl of infertility medicine. “Yuan’er, you must be sensible and do as you’re told.”

They forced the medicine down her throat, drugged her with a muscle relaxant, doused her in slops, and shoved her into the bridal sedan through the back gate of the marquis’s residence, sending her off to marry in her sister’s place.

When she left, no one in the entire household came to see her off.

Her elder sister leaned against the doorway, cracking melon seeds. “She’s only a concubine-born girl. Let her die in the wastelands. At least she won’t be an eyesore anymore.”

Her father didn’t even look up. “Taking your sister’s place is your good fortune.”

Three years later.

A million Northern Frontier cavalry smashed through Xuanguan Pass and reached the gates of the Marquis of Zhenyuan’s residence.

The whole household knelt in the front courtyard, where slops ran in rivulets, trembling with fear.

The concubine-born girl who had been doused in slops and driven out the back gate now sat in black armor before an army of thousands.

She picked up a bowl of prepared infertility medicine and smiled as she offered it to her stepmother, kneeling at her feet.

“Mother, you must be sensible.”

“You must do as you’re told.”

Her stepmother wailed and begged for mercy.

Shen Yuan merely lowered her head and brushed a speck of dust from her armor. Her voice was soft.

“What you did to me back then, I’ll return in full today.”

A million cavalry struck their armor in unison, their sound shaking the heavens.

Only then did the people of the realm learn that the iron-blooded queen of the Northern Frontier, before whom four kingdoms bowed, was the concubine-born girl whom the Marquis of Zhenyuan’s household had once driven out by dousing her in slops.
