Journeying Through the Primordial World

Xiong Jiuguo, a young man from Chu, had two greatest regrets in life:

The Donghuang Taiyi in the Songs of Chu was given too little page time,

and the Donghuang Taiyi in the Primordial World died too soon.

Then, on his way home from school, he came across a cracked gray pearl.

Only when he was swept into the Chaos did he understand:

That was no fallen remnant. It was himself, before his journey had begun.

The gods had yet to be born, but he was already there.

As three thousand Demon Gods took shape in the Chaos,

he alone knew who would create the world and who would fall.

When Pangu's axe split the Chaos and opened the heavens,

he would leave behind his body as a supreme treasure and head for the Sun Star,

for the name he had looked up to throughout his youth.

My name is Xiong Jiuguo.

I came from the bridge over the Chu River.

I journey into the Primordial World, with no date set for my return.
