This is a future world where spiritual energy is highly monopolized by "conglomerate sects". Spiritual energy is purified into "high-energy spiritual liquid", and ordinary people can only implant low-quality prosthetics, while chaebol executives become superior "immortals" through "mechanical ascension" or "genetic recombination". The protagonist traveled through time and became a seed of the "Ancient Sacred Tree" that was abandoned in the deepest part of the lower wasteland. In order not to be poached by the plutocrats as a precious resource to make elixirs, the protagonist must live underground, absorb the miscellaneous spiritual energy and electronic waste in the wasteland through his roots to survive, and gradually establish his own underground ecology/sect.
